Finalmente un po’ di serenità per il trasporto aereo…..

“Con la Conferenza dei servizi convocata di Mercoledì 8 Aprile presso la presidenza dell’ENAC a Roma si chiusa positivamente una fase di incertezza per le isole di Lampedusa e Pantelleria. Le due amministrazioni sono infatti riuscite ad ottenere una proroga dei collegamenti aerei, con voli adeguati a sopperire le necessità primarie dei residenti e degli ospiti.
La proroga è stata concessa fino al 25 di Agosto, ma già nella seconda decade di giugno si conoscerà la compagnia aerea vincitrice del bando delle tratte sociali. Si avrà quindi il tempo utile per l’inserimento definitivo dei voli nel sistema generale delle prenotazioni.

E’ un percorso – in definitiva - che porterà in tempi certi alla regolarizzazione dei voli e delle tratte onerate.
I Sindaci Salvatore Gabriele e Dino De Rubeis avevano insistito per ottenere la proroga fino al 30 settembre, anziché al 25 agosto, ma ancora una volta si sono dovuti scontrare con la mancanza di risorse sufficienti, a cui si è aggiunta la tragedia del terremoto in Abruzzo, la cui gravità giustifica da sola questo piccolo sacrificio.
Le risorse utilizzate per coprire le tratte onerate sono state dirottate da quelle che erano previste per la tratta Trapani - Roma e Trapani – Milano, in forza che già l’aeroporto di Birgi è collegato con voli low cost di Rya Air, rispettivamente con Roma Ciampino e Orio al Serio.
Il Sindaco di Pantelleria Salvatore Gabriele ha espresso apprezzamento per il lavoro congiunto e sinergico di Enac e Regione, che contribuiranno all’ integrazione del fondo per le tratte onerate con ulteriori risorse che permetteranno di aggiungere la doppia rotazione da Trapani e dei voli da Palermo con aeromobili ( A 319) di grande capacità 2 volte la settimana a partire dal 15 di giugno. “Un risultato – dichiara Gabriele - che premia la costanza, la determinazione e la ragionevolezza delle nostre proposte , per uscire da una fase di indeterminatezza e di stallo”.

Il 31 Marzo scadrà la proroga dei servizi di collegamento aereo da Pantelleria e Lampedusa, il Ministro Matteoli aveva deciso una nuova proroga fino al 24 agosto per poter avviare con le dovute procedure la pubblicazione del nuovo bando per la continuità territoriale..E invece, oggi, dopo le promesse, le lungaggini, i ritardi scopriamo l’ennesima beffa…I voli per Pantelleria e Lampedusa sono previsti unicamente fino al 30 maggio….!!!!! Anche la data del 24 agosto è inaccettabile, in piena programmazione turistica.Dopo quella data né gli ospiti abituali, né i numerosi turisti potranno arrivare sulle nostre isole, né programmare le proprie vacanze.. e le nostre comunità soffrono la condizione di disagiati speciali da troppo tempo. Vedendosi negato il diritto alla mobilità, alla salute, alla programmazione del proprio sviluppo…Con amarezza dobbiamo ammettere che il governo si è definitivamente dimenticato di noi… o peggio ancora chi confonde il bisogno essenziale della garanzie dei collegamenti con la terraferma per le nostre comunità come se fosse un “benefit” un “regalo dello stato assistenziale” o “lussi di altri momenti storici” per una profonda ignoranza dell’ubicazione geografica delle isole stesse. Isole che giacciono nel mezzo del canale di Sicilia, lontanissime dalla terraferma, con dimensioni significative, e comunità rilevanti. … non scogli in mezzo al mare..Non abbiamo davvero più tempo da perdere!!!Chiediamo collegamenti adeguati, stabili, con oraricerti. a partire da adesso, cosi’ come già era stato deciso nella conferenza dei servizi, che si trovino le risorse finanziarie necessarie.Senza se. Il 31 Marzo scadrà la proroga dei servizi di collegamento aereo da Pantelleria e Lampedusa. Non si può prenotare alcun volo dal 1° Aprile in avanti. Doveva essere pubblicato il bando per la continuità territoriale, mistero! A far data proprio dal 1° Aprile,doveva partire il nuovo servizio di continuità territoriale e invece abbiamo scoperto clamorosamente che nulla ancora è stato fatto!La mancata pubblicazione del bando sulla continuità territoriale per il trasporto aereo è un colpo durissimo alle nostre comunità ed è una nuova beffa a danno delle nostre isole. 2)   Relativamente al trasporto aereo chiediamo l’immediata convocazione della Conferenza dei servizi ai sensi dell’art. 135 della legge n. 388/2000 da parte del Ministero alla luce della non pubblicazione del bando di oneri di servizio pubblico sui collegamenti aerei Pantelleria e Lampedusa e viceversa in grado di determinare collegamenti adeguati e sufficienti sia per capienza di passeggeri e orari sia da Trapani, Palermo, Catania, ribadendo le decisioni assunte dalla Conferenza di servizi del 14/10/2008, di cui si allega operativo voli, dove se è necessario andando in deroga alle vigenti norme;

“Un convegno sulla Viabilità e sicurezza nelle strade di Pantelleria” è stato organizzato dal Rotary Club di Pantelleria. Si terrà domani sabato 28 febbraio presso la tensostruttura in Via Palazzolo con inizio alle ore 10,00. Sono previsti in apertura gli interventi del Presidente del Rotary Club di Pantelleria Giovanni Casano e di padre Silvano Porta. Le relazioni saranno fatte dal dottor Eros Lodato, Presidente Provinciale della Federazione Motociclistica Italiana, dal dottor Giovanni Giacalone, esperto di viabilità e trasporti, dal sindaco Salvatore Gino Gabriele, dal dottor Nicola Lisma, Assessore Provinciale alle politiche del mare con delega alle isole minori. Moderatori saranno il dottor Mariano Rodo e Rosanna Gabriele. In occasione di questo convegno il Rotary Club di Pantelleria donerà al Comune il progetto per la costruzione della Rotatoria dell?incrocio Via Salibi/Via Circonvallazione. Questo primo convegno sulla Viabilità e sicurezza nelle strade di Pantelleria, scrive la segretaria organizzativa Rosanna Gabriele nella presentazione  è stato organizzato a seguito di alcuni luttuosi incidenti avvenuti, in particolare in Via Salibi, per evidenziare le problematiche della circolazione nelle strade dell?isola, che possono diventare particolarmente pericolose e insidiose proprio nper al peculiarità del territorio stesso. Con questo convegno e il dono all’amministrazione comunale di un progetto di rotatoria, il Rotary Club di Pantelleria intende dare un modesto contributo alla riflessione di tutti: operatori, politici, educatori e utenti. E’ dovere di tutti noi renderci interpreti delle aspettative della gente presso le autorità, affinchè ciascuno per la propria competenza, possa intervenire per rendere più sicura la circolazione nelle starde dell’isola, ove possibile, le cause di pericolo. E’ dovere di tutti noi parlarne, per prenderne coscienza, affinchè non abbiano a ripetersi ancora episodi strazianti di giovani vite spezzate”.

Venerdi 13 febbraio alle 18 tanti luoghi e monumenti carichi di storia e simboli spegneranno le luci per aderire all’iniziativa “M’illumino di meno“, la quinta giornata di mobilitazione per il risparmio energetico lanciata dal programma di Radiodue Caterpillar. Il ’silenzio energetico’ - cui Caterpillar d? il via con una puntata in onda dalle 17 alle 18 - attravera l’Italia e l’Europa per spingersi oltreoceano. Gli organizzatori vogliono battere il record del 2008 quando in Italia - secondo Terna - furono risparmiati 4 milioni di megawatt, pari al consumo di 7 milioni di lampadine”.

L’isola delle opportunità e dello sviluppo

come sfruttare al meglio le risorse comunitarie per il futuro di Pantelleria. Un convegno con tecnici ed esperti il 30 Gennaio.

Un convegno per discutere delle risorse messe in campo dalla programmazione comunitaria: come sono stati investiti i finanziamenti ottenuti, come sfruttare al meglio le possibilit da qui al 2013.

L’appuntamento per venerdi prossimo, 30 Gennaio, a Pantelleria, nella Sala del Consiglio Comunale. Si confronteranno esperti, tecnici, cittadini, per discutere con l’Amministrazione Comunale su quanto stato fatto per lo sviluppo dell’isola e quanto ancora resta da fare.

Il nodo principale che affronteremo, spiega il Sindaco di Pantelleria, Salvatore Gino Gabriele sar quello di un disegno di legge per le isole minori siciliane, ma ci sar occasione anche di confrontarsi sugli scenari che si aprono per la nostra isola con la nuova programmazione.
